So i was reading the other day some news article that covered research on the behaviour of men when confronted with either friendly signals, or sexual signals from women, and how it seems no matter what kinds of "subtle" signals men receive from women, we tend to misinterpret them.

Essentially, a majority of men, when given friendly signals (non-sexual) misinterpreted them as signs of sexual interest, while when given sexual signals (more-than-friendly) they interpreted them as signs of friendship, not sexual interest.

This kind of research is the equivalent of telling evil robots from outer space that "the following sentence is true. the previous sentence is false." thus making my head explode...

It might be safer for men to just ignore women altogether until they find a way to "trip us and beat us to the ground" as Heinlein would say... but that is perhaps the lonely path.
